The biggest priority of people who are new to coffee brewing when making filter coffee at home is to use a practical and easy method. The easiest to use brewing equipment is the French press, and let's explain how to make filter coffee at home with this example;
- Boil your water and rinse your French press with hot water.
- For one person, put 15 grams of coffee (2 heaped teaspoons) into the French press.
- Add enough water to soak all the coffee and wait 30 seconds.
- Add 250 ml of water and let it brew for 5 minutes.
- Pour the brewed coffee into the cup and enjoy!
HOW TO MAKE FILTER COFFEE WITHOUT A MACHINE?
To make filter coffee without a machine, all you need is ground filter coffee. Add coffee and boiling water into a small jug or cup, cover it to prevent it from cooling down and wait for 5 minutes. Then, you can separate the brewed coffee from its pulp using any strainer, transfer it to a cup and consume your filter coffee. This method will please you less than coffee prepared with filter coffee brewing equipment. However, if you do not have any equipment, this method is for you!
